Being JUDGED "good enough" to get in the door was DEMEANING. The Starck SUCKED for that. I got in, but I felt bad for the many others who didn't. I also, didn't appreciate trying to take a PISS with chicks standing right behind me. I'm no prude, but some things are best left PRIVATE. Don't get the interest in sharing toilets.

I just got home from Starck Red. I was giddy as I passed through those curtains. I never thought I would get to relive those days, and I did tonight. I found my old spot at the stage and danced for hours. I have not danced so much or had that much fun in 22 years. Thanks for letting me be 24 again!

Thanks to Darryl Wood...I was born at the Starck... I could write volumes of nights spent there over a 4 year period.

Of all the memories I'm fondest of is the ride home one night after working at the Starck and having a seriously philosophical discussion with Craig Depoi. I miss you buddy.

I can still remember the concerts; Grace Jones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dead or Alive, Prince, Chris and Cosey...

and ahhh the New Years Parties. I still have one of my old t-shirts tucked away somewhere.

I think we've all attempted to explain to others; in my case my wife; what it was like...it was definately a 'you had to be there' era.

Look forward to seeing many old friends and faces at the reunion.

I was just a simple country boy from Arkansas when I moved to Dallas. I found the Starck not long after. I took a wild chance to go in full drag my first night! I stepped out of a limo with friends and we all got in right away. That night was so magical beyond imagination. My life changed from country to city boy because of the Starck. I know I was never on THE LIST but I was always let in. Was it my one piece swimsuit? I can still see Grace Jones on closing night. Nothing will ever be like the Starck! It was like Disney for adults on ecstacy.........

I just woke up from a very vivid dream about this party. Everyone was wearing the same clothes and hairstyles as they did 25 years ago. We all looked a little older, but the feeling was the same. The music was pulsing, everyone was doing that little happy Starck dance, and all was right with the world. I cannot wait to see the Club and its devotees again! Here's to making my dreams come true!

Loved Starck in the mid to late 80's. Big groups of us would make the trip from Fort Worth/TCU back in the day. And we ALWAYS got in! Starck, Clearview, 2826, Mistral, Video Bar, .... those were the days!
